HIBISCUS IN HOLLAND

Following the Danish producers, it is by the middle of the years "60" when the hibiscus found a first development in specialized cultures.Cultivars with double flowers will be the first ones used in the complexion ; red, pink, salmon, white, and some cultivars rare in single flowers .

With the research from the I.V.T. will appear cultivars Lagos and Miami :

"Miami" a very beautiful cultivar with a yellow flower seems to be desappeard definately

Since1997 a new collection gets bigger from years to years, marketed under the name of "Sunny Cities ®" collects six cultivars

Cultivars introduced into this collection are easily recognizable thanks to an illustrated labeling supplies with the plant. The peculiarities of this collection which is protected amount by a continuous bloom, of a very good conservation, plants branch out very well and buttons have a good behaviour.
